Hi all,
I just bought 12 coins from Pureogkush and wanted to post on here that the transaction was very smooth and i had my coins in my account withing 15 mins of sending my payment! Really happy and would defo use again!!
-
gonna bump this as I have received in record time at a better rate than mt.gox! cheers pureogkush
-
I'm badly in need of some BTC's obviously due to the current Mtgox/Santango situation.
Anychance someone could explain the process that pureogkush uses to get them through to us?

Interested in this too.

Smooth successful transaction :)
-
I've just done this tonight. It's 100% legit. Got the coins quicker and cheaper than I ever have with Gox.
Seller was quick and helpful on the comms too. Very happy.
-
just sent over £150.00 will update when get coins ;) gman00
-
No problems here, very quick and very smooth transaction.
Sent my cash over to requested bank a/c this morning, logged back in after doing the morning chores and the coins were there waiting. It is 100% on the level and damn sight quicker and cheaper than every exchange I ever used...
Good man, good service. Same as when you bought product off him...just with a quicker delivery time.
It is just a shame he may eventually run out.
-
quite possible the dumbest idea i have heard of.
So pureogkush is a vendor, i can direct transfer cash to an account linked to him, therefore he can be traced by the police pretty easily.
Shit, look what happened to vlad1m1r when he did this, he wasnt even a vendor, but he at leats worked in finance, this has amateur hour written all over it.

But that's not the process that pureogkush uses - so perhaps before making conclusions on how he's doing it, learn the facts.
This works 100%- used the service a couple of times without any hitches - clearly bank wires aren't the best for security, but IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO BUY BITCOINS - and there is no way in them even knowing you're buying bitcoins using this method. Unlike Vladimir who made it clear waht he was doing was illegal as he advertised himself all over the 'dark-web' and normal websites thst don't need tor. Vlad got greedy and it bit him on his arse, simple as that.
I can confirm this works, both time my coins have been in my SR wallet within 18 hours - and at £7.20 a coin (all fee's etc included) it's a fucking good deal if if you're a bit savvy - if you're a complete dumbsss, then use a foreign firm and get treated like a foreigner and get ripped off with all kinds of extortion and fuckery!
That's just my 2 p's worth, it worked fine for me and I haven't broken any laws.
Cheers,
J

I can't believe this is coming from somebody with such a high post count... It's even WORSE than being advertised all over the internet, because pureogkush is solely advertising his service HERE, on the silkroad, a drug marketplace. Good luck explaining your way out of that one if pureogkush is ever compromised.
The only way this is legitimate is if pureogkush is receiving the money into an anonymous account. If it's his own bank account, lol, then he's fucked, and anybody who transfered money from their own account is also fucked.

For starters he's not using his own bank account, and secondly it's not pureogkush you deal with - he put you onto someone else. So do yourself a favour and get some facts before making flippant comments you know jack shit about.
I've bought some bitcoins off some random women, big fucking deal.

You really feel the need to comment on this? Yeah mate I'm sure the guy selling KILOS of cola is using his own bank account to sell bitcoins. Even if that were the case your logic is still wack, like Japan1980 said buying bitcoins is still legal so the people buying off wouldn't be 'fucked' just perhaps senseless when it comes to security.
Why do you follow me around the forums?
And why do you feel the need to comment here?
-
ok so i am new here and would like some bitcoins not sure how to message someone on silk road market tho? i could do with placing an order today but need some bitcoins. any help would be great...
-
Personally I would now hold off on getting coins from this vendor. I have had 1 successful transfer with him but paid a second amount to him yesterday and have recieved no coins yet. He (or snoemaker) have also not responded to my messages...
BE CAREFUL!
-
Sitting waiting on a BTC delivery too. Had expected it to be done by now. Will report back if/when things change.
-
Yep, smooth transaction - received next day and good price too.
Difficult to get in UK just now as IS and MGox are no go unless you transfer to European a/c.
We need more like this.
-
Not disputing that some people have received coins but there are now at least 2 of us that haven't.
Ogkish also looks like he might be going out. All prices reduced etc.

yes its a closing down sale, but doubtful you will get scammed, prob a tonne of orders to process...
bargain price hash to be had!!
-
I'm not panicking yet, he's got a bunch of happy customers and a reputation for being so busy he's a tad slow sometimes.
edit:
Update this morning, had a reply apologising for the delay and saying coins should be sent out from 12pm onwards, which is promising.
-
Also waiting on coins to be sent out, put the order in about 36 hours ago and received the same message this morning stating that they will be sent out after 12.
No sign yet, but will update upon arrival!
-
Had contact today and checks a/c at 12, so I would imagine us guys waiting should have them this weekend :)
-
Update: Received coins, over all excellent service, excellent communication and excellent exchange rate! Will definatley be using again!
-
Still no BTC even though I sent payment yesterday morning whilst chatting to Snoemaker.
I'm now being told I won't get anything until Monday because they don't have full bank records or something. I see other people who have apparently ordered today are still getting their coins, so I'm increasingly paranoid.
-
*Facepalm*
long time since I've done business with Snoemaker, i hope they are doing well, they use to be quite a good customer. I hope this partnership works out and i hope they are not connected in real life.
Also i really hope pureogkush does not use onion.to every time he access silkroad, I noticed the link he provides to contact snoemaker is a onion.to link *facepalm*

Coins safely arrived after providing proof of my deposit to Snoemaker. It sounds like the guy is doing his very best and is simply swamped with stuff to handle at the moment.
So overall, happy with the transaction. I strongly suspect that even if I hadn't been able to provide proof that things would have been sorted after the weekend when Snoemaker's full bank records were available. If you're waiting, keep in touch with him and be patient. He's a decent person in my experience.
-
Made a transfer to account on Thursday night - BTCs received today - very good price £7.20/BTC. As with rest of you got message from snoemaker that s/he had been unable to access full records and confirm deposits, however once you are able to prove your deposit is through (chat with snoemaker about how to do so), coins are sent. Piece of piss - don't sweat it of you need to wait til Monday, you'll be sorted.

Exactly. I completed another deal tonight, top customer service. 100% legit and good value

Hey all, new to SR, first time posting. About to buy from pureog as I'm in the UK, thought I'd put in my 2c on this after finding the thread.
On the legality, the current MtGox price is ~£7.70, I've been searching for BTC for about a week & not seen it dip much lower than that. It's perfectly plausible that one could be an individual looking to arbitrage BTC & were directed to SR by someone, read about it in The Economist, Gawker etc - I don't know the logistics of selling them for GBP at a profit now British deposits are not being accepted but there's no reason why you couldn't be doing this in theory. So, from that POV you are just buying a currency from a private individual & that's surely no more illegal than selling a mate your leftover Euro notes for cheaper than he'd get at a bank.
However, you are being directed to them by someone who sells Pepsi by the key & since the sale is below market rates for no obvious profit it's pretty obviously a money laundering exercise being performed because it's not viable to unload thousands of BTC through an exchange on the d/l. The other explanation is they bought BTC when they were e.g. £6:1BTC & have been biding their time to sell later... sounds likely to me :) . So, you are making a direct cash bank transfer from you to someone else to buy something for at least 10% less than what it's actually worth, make contact with the person through the messaging system of a known online black market & are directed to the seller by a user who uses said black market to sell a variety of drugs in large volumes, including items going for thousands of BTC.
My (entirely non-legally trained) opinion is any connection which can be made will be purely circumstantial, but I'm not sure of the legality of complicity in money laundering & if it is c.f. handling stolen goods as the deal smacks of buying a car stereo off a pikey for a tenner in a carpark. But I'd like the BTC ASAP & this is both the fastest & cheapest at which you can get them, so having said all the above I'm going to give it a go & post my feedback here after on what I expect to be a smooth transaction.
Any input from someone who knows the laws / has time to research would be appreciated!

7.2 sterling per bitcoin is very good value. can direct bank transfers be made?
-

Yep - direct transfer to specified account - BTC sent directly and immediately to you on SR once deposit confirmed. About £1 cheaper/BTC than majority of exchanges at present. Can't say fairer than that, and it keeps the coins on the Road, so your recycling as well - green ecopurchasing of BTC?
-
Sent monies 11am Saturday morning and had coins by about 2.30pm, service can't be beaten!!!
-
Received my second order today - deposited on Saturday and in my a/c today.
Both really easy and straightforward transactions.
A must for anyone buying in UK.
-
Check this one out - Made transfer about 2 hours ago and just got the coins in my wallet.
Seriously WTF - amazing service....
-
Ok just going to clarify my earlier point on the legal side of this service.
Buying and selling bitcoins is not illegal.
Pureogkush is selling bitcoins for cash, he is a vendor on Silk Road, therefore the inference is that the BTC he is selling were obtained via selling drugs on SR.
He is offering a service for direct transfer into a bank account in exchange for BTC. He is therefore linked to that account. Even if it is not his, the person that owns it must have some connection and they are not going to take the rap for being pureogkush if the police come knocking.
As a buyer you are at minimal risk of the police taking an interet in you, however if you were exchanging £250 then chances are you are buying some quantity and may be worth raiding or at least following up.
Pureog however runs the risk of being busted full stop. Silkroad makes vending pretty safe as ling as you dont do something stupid to risk your operational security. This is what he is doing by selling BTC in this way. Smartest thing to do would be to set up a new buyer account and sell them through there. Of course he cannot rely on his cureent feedback so building trust would take longer but at least he would be safer.
In short, yes you got coins and yea they were cheap but at what coat to your security? Most of you are drug users and will have some drugs in your homes or on your person, does saving 20p ber BTC really gain you that much that you are willing to trade it for security?

2nd time using this, brilliant again, my go to guy for coins from now on.
-
Seems like a good service and a good price, i do have som reservations about security but as a small time buyer it does not worry me that much. Given how much hassle intersango and mtgox are at present i may have to try this out.
My biggest concern is that Japan1980 is promoting this so heavily, as he was involved in that BigBillyBuds car crash of a fuck up, I dont really have that much faith in things he promotes.
A high post count means shit when you abuse it to make it look as if you have some authority.

How am I promoting this so heavily?? Look through this whole thread and see how many times I've posted (hardly any) and 'promoted'!! I'm just giving feedback, which is asked of me when I get the coins through.
Involved in this Billybigbuds car crash? I was his sampler and sampled his weed and reviewed it....simple. I was nothing to do with BBB's fuck up.
High post count? Hardly, some people have thousands of posts - and how the fuck am I using it to have some authority?
You need to get your facts straight before making yourself look like a complete tit - Just a thought :)

Hey Japan1980,
Thanks for the offer of a badge but I am not looking for a reward. I am just trying to ensure that SR users can make informed decisions. Here you are in this thread espousing how awesome the service and vendor are. Last time you did that a lot of people got burned, and whilst that was a vendor who was using escrow this service does not offer that safety net.
No where do you advise caution or anything like that, all your hot air is about how quick it was and what great value. That will be fuck all help if the vendor decides to keep the cash and not send bitcoins.
-
japan1980 is nothing but genuine

Well so far it has run smoothly for me, the minute It doesn't then I shall say so for all to see....
It's not hard to figure out. Use this service at your own risk. I took the risk and it's worked absolutely fine.
Another one who's bitter about the BillyBigBuds things!!!! I don't see what I have to do with anything about that, he sent samples - I reviewed. Maybe based on my review of a weed you placed an order....who knows? As far as I'm aware it was all in escrow anyway.
And @ Lufc... Cheers mate 8). Seems like there are a few people jumping on the Japan bandwagon. Maybe bitter about BBB, who knows? No-one even comes close to explaining why they mention me with regards to this or BBB's fuck up.
-
Money sent at 11am, had coins by 5pm when i next checked. Legit, and will be back for further business in a couple days now I know its not a scam. Hopefully they keep it up. Cheers.

Hrm, sounds like a good deal if it works. I just got denied by BTCKing which I am very unhappy about, just trying to buy coins for fuck sake. Was not a good warm and fuzzy feeling for me being my first attempted transaction for a legal product.
-
The stupidity of making a bank transfer to someone directly linked with kilo's of charlie is fucking unbelievable.
Oh and look, that pin head Japan is here bigging it up too.
It's not a case of 'if' but 'when' the shit hits the fan.
All it takes is one disgruntled customer to grass up the bank details and you're all fucked.
I'd wager you're all fucked already, it's a no-brainer
Please don't come crying on here when you get busted for being stupid

They still operating?
dropped £360 into their account on monday and no BTC and no reply to either message :o :o

EDIT: Other £30's worth of BTC been credited, happy customer!
-
Exactly, use at your own risk, but so far the service seems legit. For smaller amounts, at least. I've just bought a couple of dozen bitcoins and I'm happy with the service, will use it again, if I get there before they run out.
-
Currently waiting on a few coins but no response yet. Still early days will update if/when recieved

How many Btc did you get for your £130 mate..please! :)
-
have used his service twice before and was perfect, received the money in a couple of hours even on a sunday. however, yesterday i sent 70 pounds and was told the btc will make it to my sr account by 12, and that i should message with the detail. the btc hasn't arrived yet, and he's not replying to my messages even though his profile page says he checked in today. also i noticed the item of pureogkush that is meant to serve as feedback has had it's price raised so that it's impossible to give a bad feedback. so as of now i'd caution anyone else thinking of using this service, though it might still be fine. just thought it would be better to share
-
Got told the same story.....not looking good but fingers crossed.

Im in a similar position, in that i am waiting on a small amount of bitcoins. i have had good communication with the vendors associate up until day. This however is now 2 days after transfer and just hoping this is a blip or a hold up in someones real life. It would be just my luck if this fails to transpire as other buyers have been paid only days before.
I am a great believer in positive vibes so im still positive they will deliver as promised.
will update.
Any BTC companies that can be accessed from the U.K and deliver the goods that way? Any on this info greatly appreciated.
-
buying bitcoins on the road is very unsecure. really. SR support will tell you that too, there is no trusted Bitcoin vendor on the road.(there was one before though) If you buy bitcoins on SR you go out of escrow and then you are on your own. Anything can happen. Some vendor who seems trusted can suddenly disappear with all your money. There have been lots of scams in the past because of bitcoin selling through WU. Ive been scammed too for 300 euros in May this year because I trusted some asshole vendor. now hes gone but who knows maybe he just got another vendors account and then the whole shit starts again.
If you just would follow the rules..rule number one advised in the greetings message homepage of SR:
Always use the escrow system! This can't be stressed enough. 99% of scams are from people who set up fake vendor accounts and ask buyers to pay them directly or release payment before their order arrives. This behavior should be reported immediately. If you do choose to do this, we will be completely unable to help you in the event of fraud.
Bitcoins is outside escrow, its a scam!! bitcoins arent illegal! buy your bitcoins legally through some friend if you dont want to do it through your bank account.
Just be careful guys..!!!

Too right - plus it sounds like some people have sent stupid amounts of money over that would need explaining to a bank manager. They deserve time rather then shouts of scam-er, had nothing but A++++ service from them in the past and expecting the same here. Fairly certain of the reason for the delay but its not my place to go public with it.
If we keep each other updated (without revealing anything that gives the game away) then we are fine - if the worst comes to the worst there are several ways people can get their money back and remain 'innocent'.
Intersango EU works perfectly fine and is working out the much safer and quicker option at the moment. Hoping all goes well for og/snoe and everyone ends up with a smile on their face.

No coins for several days now and no replies to messages. If they don't turn up today I will be reporting an unauthorized transaction to my bank and will get my cash back.

Hi, shit that's bad to hear but I strongly recommend you don't do that - know more about bank fraud/forensics than is safe to mention here, but that would get yourself and everyone else who has deposited fucked.
If there's nothing by Monday I'll tell you how to do it risk free. :)

Will let you know on monday if the whole silence thing is still continuing. Banks take unauthorised payment claims very, very seriously, all it will achieve is framing yourself/others which non of us want. :)
I'm 99.9% sure there's a perfectly valid reason for the delay, had nothing but perfect service from kush from before - but I'm as pissed off as everyone else with the complete silence/lack of payment - hope none of this sounds like threats to them, just making it crystal clear the unnauthorised payment route will never work.

to be honest it smells of shite but og had best reviews checked out history heavily before ne thing ........ seems while hes been having hard times people have flogged him to death over delays (this in its self would eventualy make me think fuck em). was bad hes ending account with sr ne way as he gets a lot of top top top hash n well i need hi quality pollen all the time lol.... was planning on buying a lot of product off him just dosnt add up ne of this .........why would someone with that many bc from a successful bis risk brilliant sales daily on bc cashing in the piggy bank, then risk peoples faith by cashing in to make so far from what i can see a few hundred pound . realy am hoping this is something other than changing face .the mans dad just died maybe its turned into a two man session i dont know but fuck what a nightmare . people just dont send funds till things are 100% as should be all round .
-
I have had a successful past transaction with Snoemaker.
I sent them the money after they had taken down the listings and I got an angry message back saying that there are no more coins as people are being dickheads and risky with the bank details.
After a couple of messages and an apology from me, I received the funds within 36 hours. This was last week though. In all my dealings with these guys I have found them to be down the line. So I have no reason to expect that will change.
Saying that though, I would never transfer more than £100 as to lose anymore than that to a scammer would be gutting. Better of going to bitmarket . eu and paying over the odds in relative safety.
Also, the risk of bank transfers to people on here. Who gives a shit? really, I am only buying a few grams of hash. far less risky than when I had to go down to Camden or Brixton and deal with dodgy hoody fuckers. Let the OB knock on my door, what are they going to find. Right now 1 gram of has and 1/2 g of coke. You'd hope they would have better things to do
-
All pureog's listings have been taken down so looks even more suspicious now!
-
still no reply here. Anyone have more info yet?
No zero replies for me either! Just waiting for Goldenvirgina to post now to give us info on how to go about getting our funds back rather than going the bank route!
My personal opinion is that the coins aint gonna arrrive now!
-
I dont think were getting it back to be honest mate. It's probably best to let it go rather than go through the hassle of making fraud claims to your bank unless your hundreds of pounds down which im not.
i agree that i dont think we are getting anything from Snoemaker or Pureogkush too but i for one wont be writing anything off. your just playing into their hands by just giving up! I personally see no problem with getting my bank onto it, i know others feel its wrong but there is nothing illegal about buying bitcoins even from a site like silk road!
at the end of the day i see no reason why Snoemaker cant transfer all funds back if we are to beleive there is no scam and that family problems are the cause but as snoemaker has also dissapeard then it seems scam is the only reasonable excuse and scammers get what they deserve!
Like i said previously Goldenvirgina stated there was a way without getting bank onto it and promised to reveal all today, if this doesnt happen i will be onto my bank first thing tomorrow!

Started reading this thread and thought it sounded pretty hopeful but when i saw the guy had crack listed something made me back away. Perhaps he doesn't get high on his own supply but I'm just too para for that. I ended up stocking up and paying a fair bit over this but at least i got them.
Is there anyone legit to do this sort of thing from on SR? For instance I've got a fair few coins but couldn't even consider selling them as I got no vendor account and no one knows who i am so have got no reassurance i wouldn't just take your cash and never send anything. Just don't see a fool proof way around this unfortunately :(

how about trying to team up with a well known vendor, that might be good as its getting harder to get coins in the uk.. i would defo be interested in buying some, if you had some one with already gained trust.
-
I'm having the same problems with snoemaker, made a 150 GBP deposit on Tuesday and still no response from him. I'm similarly waiting on goldnvirgina to show me how to safely get my money back. I'm pissed off that I've been ripped off. Anyone got any reason to think that we haven't been ripped off and the payment is simply delayed?
-
Yep I got took for £200 and Pureogkush seems to have gone as well now.
I wouldn't mind but I've just got done with a loan to Thaistick as well for £300
-

Yeah nice idea, have only bought off a few people so far as I'm pretty new but i guess once i've done a few more trades (as I'm gonna be buying reasonable amounts) one of them might go for it.
If you're stuck in the meantime have you tried blockchain? I tried them as an experiment with £150 the other week - and although they actually fucked mine up and it took a week till the boss - some guy called Ben came back from holiday before they could get it into my blockchain wallet apparently other people on here doing it at the same time were ok. They did admit i wasn't the only one who had the week delay though. You can do it through barclays pingit to their anonymous wallet and if its fixed, as they assured me it should in theory only take 15 mins for the transfer to show in blockchain wallet and then you just send to SR. For not massive amounts i reckon its reasonably secure as buying BTC is legal and the blockchain wallet is completely anon so when you go to SR you should be ok - i think, though i'm no expert!
I was hoping for some sort of compo from them for the delay but doesn't look to be forthcoming. Price isn't too bad but not as cheap as i'd like. I'm fairly sure despite technical niggles they're legit though. When i was waiting they also recommended bitinstant having a UK cash deposit service but i didn't look into it...
If i do have any luck with a vendor i'll let you know.
-
I kind of always thought Snoemaker was pureOG. Snoemaker use to buy a lot of bubblehash from me and his buyer stats were insane! He spent shit loads on this place, plus he use to alwyas tell me how pureog's hash was the best on the road and i should buy some. Their grammar and spelling are pretty similar if not the same ::)
-
Went digging at the weekend and it turns out the method isn't as foolproof as thought. The unauthorised route should work providing it is a small amount but make sure you clean house/papertrail first.
Still nothing here - Snoemaker logged in yesterday and didn't reply to any of my messages, can't find any sign of PureOGKush which is disappointing as he seemed a good bloke.

Cheers for getting back Golden! Ive gone down the bank route this morning, dunno if all teh same but mine has an optioon to report 'goods not received after payment' so have done that, will update on what happens!
-
Ive been waiting for my btc since the 13th, pretty sure i've been scammed.
-
If Pureogkush and Snoemaker are one in the same person then they are pretty stupid to scam this way by giving out a legit Barclays bank account, if nothing can be linked to the illegal selling of drugs as they are different people then Snoemaker will just be liable for the quite large fraud of funds for just bitcoins! Banks defo dont take any shit where this sort of thing is concerned!
-
Thanks for the update. 'Not recived' route sounds very promising.
Doubt they were stupid enough to use her personal account but they'll still easily be done for fraud.

plus one ;) but i dont have a bloody smart phone to use barclays ping it mate lol. I was going to buy one but then barclays pingit reduced the amount of money you can send to buy bnitcoins from 250 gbp a week to 10gbp, i think it was

My bank wants documentation proving the agreement for delivery of goods :-\
Don't know how I'm gonna get my money back now. What was this other method you were suggesting goldenvirgina?

Thats not a good sign, ive even stupigly deleted all my messages from Snoemaker!
Anyone know how to get an address from bank details? Ive found the branch address!
-
For you guys who have lost hundreds of pounds each I think the only way to get this guy is if you club together and go down the Pi route,
Ive not lost anywhere near enough to go down that route it just winds me uo letting the fucker get away with it, if could find his/her address then would hapily rock up and sort out face to face!

why the fuck do people not listen?
what is the point of the forum if the voices of reason are shouted down by the loudmouths, people dont get protected from scams here they get warmed up for them.
Japan1980 is the worst offender, he probably posted in this thread 4 or 5 times bigging up the service, shouting down naysayers, everytime that guy is connected to something it turns to shit.

The thing is, people need to come to the forums straight away when they smell scam to get it out in the open and get advise/warn others. F what the vendor thinks of that if there legitimate they will solve the issue. I smelled BS from this guy and posted on the forum within 1 day of my coins not turning up. Now you hear about guys sitting on there arse since the 13th of October waiting for him to pay when he clearly advertises 24 hours! Jheeze dont sit around for 5 days listening to his BS too scared to post on forum. Get it out in the open.

Well what a Buggernaught of a situation.
I invested in BC's through Snoemaker for My Birthday, the transaction went through on the 19th AM.
I was advised that if I got it in before Midday I would get my BC that day.
Which I did...
...But I didn't get my coins.
And now I am looking at a birthday celebration without any of the celebration.
And a birthday with less money than ever before.
Bugger.
I would note that I have been in situations whereby it has taken me two months of staring at a wall in order to be OK to carry on functioning as a human being and getting to work etc.... So I understand if this is a genuine problem and I end up with my BC's.
But I am a sucker for punishment.
I am going to remain optimistic.
If Either Snoemaker or Kush are reading this, please get in touch at the very least so I/we have an idea of what is going on.
You have my word that I understand how difficult life can be and I for one will not judge you for the radio silence up until this point, and would be calm and honest if you just do the best thing and got in touch so we can talk it through....
Life Huh.

It's so unfair that people can do things like this to us :(
You see a seller with a good rating and successful transactions have been so you think it's safe to go ahead with trusting that seller with your hard earned BC.
Pieboy23 I like your way of thinking and people do understand POK has been a through a hard time lately but it's no excuse - Let's hope that he has a conscience and in the near future people receive some form of communication and either get their BC or their money back. There must be someone somewhere who knows what's really happened :-X
Shame about your birthday :'(

Does anyone know of a way to get our money back or is it a lost cause.
Would a small caims court be any use seen as I've snoemaker's bank details?

Its stuff like this that screwed up mtgox and intersango.
Id write it off as a lost cause and chalk it up to experience.

Oh dear this looks ominous!
Is there a thread up about OGK and people not receiving their orders? I know we all got used to waiting and also the troubles he was telling us about, so alarm bells not ringing immediately, but the signs are not looking good.
Is anyone waiting on any orders other than BTC?
-
Yeah, had a gram of his BHO on order for ages, its now gone to the resolution centre.
Just to balance things out a bit, i *have* had several high value transactions with this guy that went flawlessly (about 500 quid a time)
For what its worth, i dont think he set out to be a scammer,
-
We need to go into the resolution centre to alert admin he is a scammer. That way at least the buyers who went through Escrow for goods will have a stronger case of a full refund. Please report him
-
For UK buyers.... I'm just waiting on some coins from Bitcoin-OTC but decided to have a check up on Ping-It while waiting to recieve them and noticed this:
Is there a maximum deposit limit?
Yes, users are strictly limited to deposits of £500 per 7 days. The maximum single transaction size is £250.
Is there a minimum deposit limit?
The minimum deposit that can be made is £10.
Seems like the £10 limit may have been lifted. Can anyone confirm this? :)

Yeah i can confirm, used it 2 days ago, quality service! i went to a barclays cash machine and topped up £90 to my pingit account, arrived instantly then used pingit to buy the coins, had the coins in my account in 5 mins!!
if only this had been working 2 weeks ago then wouldnt have taken the punt on Pure!!
Still heard nothing from my bank yet by the way!

You idiot. I bigged it up when it was working, each time it worked I left feedback saying it worked - it's called a REVIEW. If it didn't work I would have left a negative review.
When they stopped doing it, and started it up again all of a sudden, it was obviously a scam. If you can't see that then you deserve to be fucking scammed.
First time round yeah I had no problems, but I didn't risk it when it came back - clear signs of 'fuck it we could be onto a good scam here'..... and people fell for it.
My only concern is I have outstanding orders with OG that will clearly end up in resolution.
@Pickles - explain what I had to do with the BBB incident please? From what I gather now he's turned things round anyway.

Yeah am the same had quite a few 30 to 50 BTC transactions with him. All went well and some.
Its seems a bit strange but a few total speculative guesses are that its all part of the big run at the end. maybe someone out there like us built up a good relationship with him, always got very good products at ok prices and went for one of the high end orders like a Kilo of white and thats the big payday. After all it was very competitively priced. He changed his orders for hash to all 14g orders the last few days, nicely priced but not too cheap, thats a clear money grab. Then can come back after the dust settles and go again. It mirrors the UKPharm ending as well, appeared like they never set out to scam but is the plan all along. Take a holiday and come back in a few months and do it all again.
Shame these people cant be happy with the huge markup per gram they charge etc. I think this pattern of scam will happen again and again and almost always be the same people behind them.
sorry about your birthday!!

I've been buying over the internet for over a decade (Budmonkey, where are you now?)
Nearly every vendor ive used tend to conduct their business in an orderly fashion, then decide to stop for one reason or another.
Some make enough money to retire, others are forcibly retired by the authorities.
The trick is to be lucky enough to not order something when theyre shutting up shop.
The service ive known to have run the longest was RENE, but it's been a while since ive used him, dunno if he's retired now too.

You are a fucking hero.
Never heard of Barclays ping it until your post. Sat here with my phone. Registered account, verified account, cretaed account at blockchain. Paid money into Barclays with internet banking, transfered to blockchain now to here.
Most people here are tech savvy as I am. Whole process took 10 mins. What a dude you are. I owe you one!
